Who has been the club's Candidates Secretary for the last two years, is standing down from the post.
He is currently living in Austria, from where it will be difficult to carry out the role effectively. The club is very grateful to Jack for his hard work and significant progress in establishing a base of talented members away from the South East.
Who was elected to the club in 1975. He has represented Cambridge University and Shropshire, as well as captaining the National Association of Young Cricketers in 1973. Since 1997 he has been a master at Eton College, where he has taught mathematics, run the Under 15 Cricket XI, and been Master in Charge of Fives. Prior to Eton he taught at Harrow School from 1987 to 1997, where he was Master in Charge of Cricket, and at Shrewsbury School from 1977 to 1987, where he was also Master in Charge of Cricket. In March Mark left Eton to join the staff of MCC at Lord's as the adviser on umpiring and the Rules of Cricket.
Mark has been responsible for introducing many talented schoolboy players to the club, and latterly to FF Academy; his position as Candidates Secretary will develop this role.
